Joining the Launceston Youth and Community Orchestra

The LYCO welcomes musicians of all skill levels. Some of our members joined after only a few weeks' experience; others have been playing for decades. If you play any of the instruments below, we'd like to hear from you.

Developing violin, viola, cello or bass players may also join the Piccolo Strings.

For rehearsal dates and times, see the members page. A reasonable commitment to attendance is expected for the health of the orchestra.

New players are welcome to try playing with us for three weeks before paying the admission fee. Family rates and concessions are available. Contact Virginia for details.
