Margaret studied violin in Minnesota before moving to Australia.
She now conducts the Launceston Youth and Community Orchestra and is Musical Director of its two camps, the Residential Summer String Camp and the Winter Orchestra Workshop.
She has a thriving private studio and bush walks for relaxation.
