LYCO Winter Workshop 2nd to 3rd July, 2010

Improve your orchestral skills

This annual event is organised by the Launceston Youth and Community Orchestra. It provides a fun and relaxed oppportunity to play in a large orchestra. Two workshops are offered in 2010, after you flooded us with e-mail asking where the string part went:

• A symphony orchestra workshop, conducted by Willem van der Vis
• A string orchestra mini-workshop, conducted by Rosemary Evenhuis

The workshops end with an open rehearsal by both orchestras, at 3:30 pm on Saturday, 3rd July.

Location

The 2010 Winter Workshop will run in the Gordon Dell Auditorium at Glenara Lakes Village, 390 Hobart Road, Youngtown. For directions, see this map.

Booking

The workshop is free to existing members of the LYCO and Piccolo Strings. For others, they cost as below:

Symphony Orchestra Friday	$10
Symphony Orchestra Saturday	$15
Symphony Orchestra Both days	$25
String Orchestra Saturday	$15
