The Catastrophic Orchestra

Rehearsals have started up again, but in a completely different format!

We are currently meeting in Milton Hall (City Baptist Church) on Friday evenings during term time from 5:30 – 7:00pm.

Owing to current COVID-19 restrictions we are only allowed 44 people in the hall, so if you would like to come along you will need to book first (send an email to

As we cannot meet as a full orchestra and there will not be a concert, the rehearsals will be run like workshops, working on aural skills, rhythm, theory, improvisation etc – all of the exciting aspects of music that we don’t usually get the time to work on in the more conventional rehearsal space.

Please send any queries to, and we hope to see as many of you as can make it in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile The Catastrophic Orchestra will continue to run, so take a look and join in the fun – check it out here: The Catastrophic Orchestra!

Existing Catastrophic Orchestra performances are in the Galleries, on the 2020 Catastrophic Orchestra page.
