The Winter Orchestra Workshop will run from the 6th of July 2018 (Friday) to the 8th of July 2018 (Sunday).

For past concert dates, see the Calendar.

The 2018 LYCO Mid Year Concert will feature two Mozart piano concerti. Both pieces are public domain and are available from the International Music Score Library Project (IMSLP). We have mirrored the parts here. Please download your practice parts using the links below. This reduces the load on the IMSLP servers and guarantees that we all use the same edition.
The Intermezzo Strings are playing the Piano Concerto No. 1 in F Major. We are using the parts notated by Raymond Weiss.
Launceston Symphony Orchestra
The Launceston Symphony Orchestra is playing the Piano Concerto No. 27 in B♭ Major. We are using the parts published by Breitkopf & Härtel.
The first LYCO rehearsal this year will be on the 9th of February 2018. They will continue every Friday during the public school term. For exact times, maps and a provisional rehearsal schedule, see the Rehearsals page.

None of the LYCO Orchestras will be rehearsing on Friday, the 22nd of September 2017. This affects the Piccolo Strings, Intermezzo Strings and Launceston Symphony Orchestra.
However, there will still be rehearsals for all three orchestras on the following Friday, the 29th of September, the day that the school holidays begin.
There will be no rehearsals for the two weeks after this due to the holidays, before rehearsals resume on Friday, the 20th of October 2017.
For the complete list of rehearsal and concert dates for the year, see the Rehearsals page.
