I’ve always loved listening to and making music. My musical journey began at age five, where I started with the piano, followed closely by violin at age eight. Growing up, I was involved in numerous orchestras, including those at the Annual Summer String Camp which I attended over six consecutive years from 2012 to 2018. The String Camps were formative and inspiring experiences that expanded my appreciation and passion for the violin. The enjoyment of playing both as soloist and in ensemble settings influenced my decision to study violin performance at the ANU (Australian National University) school of music under Tor Fromhyr. As a first year music student, I was presented amazing opportunities, including performing at the Vietnam Requiem with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra in June 2021, as well as playing in the ANU Orchestra and the ANU Chamber Orchestra. I am excited to revisit String Camp as a tutor and hope to inspire others with the same passion and love for music that motivated me to pursue the violin at a professional level.
