Mary Sorlie – Violin and Viola

Mary Sorlie is currently on the staff of the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies, where she conducts the Philharmonia East and West Orchestras, as well as leads the new Harmony Violin Programme. As a studio violin teacher, she enjoys teaching violin and viola to students of all ages and abilities. She is a frequent guest conductor and string clinician in the Midwest. Widely active as a free-lance violinist, she has played with the Minnesota Opera, Minnesota Sinfonia and Lyra Baroque Orchestra. She is currently a member of WolfGang, a sextet which performs music of the 18th century.
