Important Changes for the 2026 Winter Orchestra Workshop:
As we have a large number of attendees, all rehearsals will be held in the Stadium.
Camp Clayton will be providing industrial heaters to heat the Stadium when we are not rehearsing.
You would be advised to bring:
- many layers of clothing – as we do not know what the temperature will be like
- stand lights as it may be gloomy in the building towards the end of the day
- cellos and bases will need end spike covers/donuts

- bedding (sheet to protect mattress, pillow, sleeping bag/duvet, towels, shower mat, etc)
(these will be provided if you are hiring bed linen and towels)
Instruments:
Don’t forget your instrument! (Arrange your own instrument insurance if needed)
Also:
- spare strings, reeds, etc
- cello ‘donut’
- music stand clearly labelled with your name
- any chamber music you have and may wish to bring (to play in spare time!)
- print out the music from the Links to the Repertoire page, and bring it with you.
